Main Responsibilities
- Receive goods while respecting the cold chain.
- Store products according to established rules to ensure their quality.
- Skillfully cut meats and poultry.
- Prepare meats for sale and carefully fill product displays.
- Ensure product rotation and regularly check expiration dates.
- Check and maintain adequate temperature of refrigerators and freezers.
- Serve customers and offer superior quality service.
- Clean work tools and maintain cleanliness of the workstation.
- Respect work methods and rules established by the company.
- Adopt hygiene and sanitation standards, as well as health and safety standards.
- Perform any other related task as needed by the team.
Job Requirements
- Have a sense of organization and priority management.
- Work as a team and provide excellent customer service.
- Possess skills to work quickly and under pressure.
- Experience in retail, particularly in the meat department, would be an asset.
- A DVS in retail butchery or equivalent is a plus.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift loads up to 40 pounds and work in a cold environment.
- Ability to stand for several hours.
- Must be able to communicate in French.
