Main Responsibilities

  • Receive goods while respecting the cold chain.
  • Store products according to established rules to ensure their quality.
  • Skillfully cut meats and poultry.
  • Prepare meats for sale and carefully fill product displays.
  • Ensure product rotation and regularly check expiration dates.
  • Check and maintain adequate temperature of refrigerators and freezers.
  • Serve customers and offer superior quality service.
  • Clean work tools and maintain cleanliness of the workstation.
  • Respect work methods and rules established by the company.
  • Adopt hygiene and sanitation standards, as well as health and safety standards.
  • Perform any other related task as needed by the team.

Job Requirements

  • Have a sense of organization and priority management.
  • Work as a team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Possess skills to work quickly and under pressure.
  • Experience in retail, particularly in the meat department, would be an asset.
  • A DVS in retail butchery or equivalent is a plus.
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift loads up to 40 pounds and work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to stand for several hours.
  • Must be able to communicate in French.
