Main Responsibilities

  • Weigh and package meats, poultry, and other products in the meat and fish department.
  • Print and affix price labels, ensuring the accuracy of product descriptions.
  • Prepare meats for sale and fill display cases carefully.
  • Rotate products and check expiration dates.
  • Ensure that product packaging is in good condition.
  • Clean the bottom of refrigerators and freezers to ensure cleanliness.
  • Serve customers with quality and attentive service.
  • Clean work tools and maintain the cleanliness of your workstation.
  • Respect established working methods and rules.
  • Adopt hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards at work.
  • Take out the trash from your department and perform any other related tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Have a sense of organization and priority management.
  • Work as a team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Possess the skills to work quickly and under pressure.
  • Experience in retail, particularly in the meat department, would be an asset.
  • Ability to lift loads up to 40 pounds and work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to stand for several hours.
